Why Apple is Most Valuable Company in terms of Profit and Revenue

Apple seems to be the insuperable sultan among technology providers today. No wonder that the decade’s golden arena has raised the company to possibly become the world’s most valuable company ever.

Here is how the elusive feat was possibly achieved.

Apple went past the record revenue of $620 billion set by Microsoft in 1999. The company has made a whopping $623 billion. Its stock values rose rapidly owing to optimism over the release of the iPhone 5 and a possible smaller and inexpensive iPad. It has continued to be the world’s most valuable company since last year and today it is possible the most valuable one “ever”.

According to analysts Apple, iPhone revenues piled up more than Microsoft as the former is worth more than Google and Microsoft put together. Apple had already grabbed the number one status on the worth of the company, overtaking Exxon Mobil a year ago.

Share prices up due to two major players:

The impending arrival of the fifth generation iPhone after the success of its previous generation smartphones is a major cause of the increase in Apple’s share prices. The rumor over apple’s new cut-piece iPad is yet another share-price booster.

Microsoft, the unhappy rival:

Obviously, it would take a while before Microsoft could come to terms with this new change. The former leader hit back stating that the definition of criteria for being the most valuable company is not all that good. It has also claimed that its long-lasting enterprise client relationship is better than that of Apple’s. Hence it could do businesson a larger scale than that of Apple.

Apple’s ‘Think Different’ slogan:
Apple has come a long way with the ‘think different’ motto. Analysts believe that the company has lot of room to grow further. Apart from the iPad and iPhone, Apple’s plan to make television sets would complete its share of customer electronic product offers. Apple has always made it a point not to comment on its upcoming products until the last few days of release.

Arguments against Apple’s new status:

According to issues published in Techcrunch and few other technology review sites, Apple may not be the most valuable company ever. It further suggests that neither Apple nor Microsoft is the world’s most valuable companies. It’s IBM that tops the chart.

These sources claim that Apple takes the number one spot without taking the inflation into account. One the contrary, IBM is the historic winner.

There are few other sources claiming that Microsoft is the definite leader when the inflation is taken into account. They say Apple has had an incredible run but its development is not enough to grab the crown as the most valuable company ever. Apple would have been the clear winner if the inflations were not taken into account. But even Steve Jobs would not have had the pleasure in winning the title with the ‘ifs and buts’ in place.

Techcrunch also agrees that Apple has all the ingredients to become the most valuable company if it grows at this rate. The New York Times predicts that Apple would be worth $3 trillion by 2020 which is greater than the gross domestic product of Brazil and France.

Whatever said and done, Apple is definitely on a role. Just like the Apple fruit, the Apple Company seems to have tremendous strength. Watch out for its upcoming products and market shares. The future could be all about Apple.

Apple's iPhone and iPad Sales Competition in Q4

According to the latest Sales Report from IHS conducted competition between Appleproducts in Q4 of 2011. It has been observed that tablet market is really going higher with the maximum revenue from Apple iPad and iPad 2 and also from Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet. But according to the report Apple's iPad is actually facing competition with its own sibling iPhone in terms of most selling in Q4 of 2011. No doubt that Apple'siPad generation tablets have beat Amazon's Kindle Fire in term selling but still it’s far behind as compare to Apple iPhone Smartphone.

IHS report has mentioned that in the last three months of 2011, Apple shipped 15.4 million iPads and iPad 2s. During that same period, Apple slipped from 64% of the global media market to 57%. Apple's CEO Tim Cook has also recently revealed that the company sold more iOS devices last year than it sold Macs in 28 years. According to Rhoda AlexanderIHS Senior Manager“Shipments of the iPad line fell short of IHSestimates in the fourth quarter as many loyal Apple customers devoted their dollars to shiny new alternatives,” However, the primary alternative wasn’t the Kindle Fire which debuted to solid sales in the fourth quarter but Apple’s own iPhone 4S smartphone. The rollout of the iPhone 4S in October generated intense competition for Apple purchasers’ disposable income, doing more to limit iPad shipment growth than competition from the Kindle Fire and other media tablets.”

Apple TV can run fullscreen iOS Applications - Unofficially

Apple TV is one of the low budget Apple iOS device from a company which provides total entertainment to its users. The price of the Apple TV is low as $99.00 contains powerful hardware specification includes Apple A4 chipset with a PowerVR SGX535 and 256 megabytes of RAM, running modified iOS builds from those on iPods touch, iPhone touch, and iPad touch. Apple TV exists as a media center settop box officially but users can also Run any iOS Applications including apps from iPhone, iPod and iPad on jailbroken Apple TV unofficially.

There is one video available on internet which provides you an evidence of runningiOS Apps on Apple TV. The video shows demo of some iOS Apps like Facebook, Maps, Safari and YouTube on a jailbroken Apple TV. This is not AirPlay, the apps are running directly from the Apple TV and scaling to 720p.

According to MacDaddy News, MobileX is a window manager for iOS that replaces Springboard, letting iPhone and iPad apps run on the Apple TV. Since the Apple TV doesn’t have a touch screen, they are using a combination of VNC, SSH and the Apple Remote to launch and navigate apps. Once the app progress finalized by two developers, you will be able to launch apps using only the remote. I think its one of the cheapest way to run iOS Apps directly on $99 Apple TV.

Revenue Sharing Between iOS Apps and Android Apps

According to the latest report from Flurry.com about Comparison between iOS Appsand Android Apps Revenue Sharing, it’s revealed that iOS Apps are much profitable in terms of revenue as compare to Android Apps. iOS Apps make four times higher revenue as compare to Android platform. Flurry Analytics has also found that developers are choosing to start new projects on iOS over Android at a ratio of almost 3 to 1. No doubt Android is an open source platform and many big phone maker companies like Samsung, Motorola, Sony etc. is now offering Android devices but thestatistic makes it clear that Apple iOS is still more popular platform in terms of Apps Revenue as compare Android platform.

I personally think that Android is new in smartphone arena and it has potential to gain more revenue as compare to any other platform including iOS and its popularity speaks itself that it has already beat its competitors when choosing Smartphones.

Apple becomes Biggest Mobile Technology Litigation & Patent's Lawsuit Company

Somehow or Someway Apple has now become the World's largest and biggest Mobile Technology Litigation Company in last two years as compare to its competitors i.e. Nokia, HTC, Samsung, Google, Kodak, Motorola, Elan etc. It’s true that many Patents’ Lawsuit and Litigation are going on in this year as well as previous two years either its patent’s lawsuit war between Apple and SamsungApple and NokiaApple and Google or Apple and HTC etc. but the winner of biggestMobile Technology Patent's Lawsuit is surely an Apple. According to an intellectual-property consulting firm called Kanzatec IP Group; Apple is indirectly or directly involved in at least 80 percent of all the mobile technology litigation and patent's lawsuits that took place in the last two years and in year 2012. We will show you an Infographic based on World's largest and biggest Mobile TechnologyLitigation and Patent's Lawsuit Company entitled "Who is suing Whom?" which you will find interesting.

According to Feisal Mosleh, a Senior VP at Kanzatec said;
"I would speculate that Apple will continue to be at the center of the litigation map of large mobile IT companies for as long as it maintains its dominant place in the market"
Apple has achieved and gained alot of profits and revenue in the last 2-3 years and has become the biggest and largest mobile technology company in the world in termsof market revenue and market share. Hence, it is a direct target for any small or competitive companies. Recently, Apple was sued by a company in the U.S, who claimed that Apple had stolen their noise reduction technology. Apple recently paid about $60 million as settlement to Proview, a Chinese company who stated that theiPad trademark belonged to them so you may think that how Mobile Technology is evolving and how Patent's Lawsuit and Litigation is become so important and crucial for Mobile Companies. So let’s find out the following Infographic entitled "Who is suing Whom?" and based on World's largest and biggest Mobile TechnologyLitigation and Patent's Lawsuit Company.

Toshiba's AT330 Tablet Review, Specification & Details

Toshiba’s New AT330 Tablet Review and Concept

Hot on the heels of the recent release of Apple’s New Ipad 3, Toshiba have unveiled what consumers can expect from their latest addition to the growing tablet market. With tablets becoming extremely popular, a variety of computing and electronics companies are hastily coming up with new ideas for tablets, and putting them into production as soon as they can. At the moment tablets seems to have a few things in common, namely having a touchscreen display, having a high battery life, and being smaller than laptops and netbooks. With the release of Tohiba’s AT330, one of these constant similarities is blown completely out the water. Get a sneak preview by watching this video.

Staggering Screen

At first glance’s, the Toshiba AT330 looks far too big to be tablet, especially if you line it up with other tablets and compare. The AT300 blurs the line between tablet and laptop, especially when you consider that one of the MacBook Pro models come with a 13.3-inch screen, and the MacBook Air has a model with an even smaller screen. You may have guessed already, but now it can be confirmed that Toshiba’s newest tablet has a staggering 13.3-inch screen. Its size is comparable to that of a portable television set, which is ironic considering one of its features, which will be explained a little later.
There has been much discussion over whether the screen is just too big, and at the moment it seems that it’s the largest tablet produced so far. Apple’s latest release, the iPad 3, sports a 9.7-inch display, but as far as the rumours go the Toshiba can’t better it for resolution size. It seems that this 13.3-inch behemoth is has a screen resolution of 1600x900 or 1920x1200, but there has been no confirmation from Toshiba to confirm either of these sizes. Either way, it is apparent that Toshiba are not trying to out trump Apple when it comes to screen resolution, but are going one better in regards to screen size.

A Tablet First

Before going into exactly what other specifications the AT330 has, there is one other addition that draws a distinction from all other tablets out there to buy. In what seems to be a blast from the past, reminiscent of the days when hand-held television sets were a funky accessory to have, an antenna and TV tuner has been added to the new Toshiba tablet. It seems a strange move, especially when those old hand-held televisions were notorious for having pretty awful signal, and being difficult to watch at the best of times. This has no deterred Toshiba however, and when it was unveiled at Toshiba World 2012 in Germany, it was displayed on a stand which made it seem even more TV-like. At the moment it is not known if the tablet will come with a remote control, or if the TV tuner will really display a picture worthy of the extra-large 13.3-inch screen.
The antenna itself is pretty flimsy looking, although it does tuck neatly inside of the tablet when it’s not being used. Once it is pulled out and fully extended, users can manipulate its position to get the best signal. There are no reports on how well the antenna and TV tuner actually works, but Toshiba are offering something that no other tablet has got. It would be perfect for watching while on holiday in a motorhome, but could end up spiking up your motorcaravan insurance premium if you want it covered. Only time will tell if this addition will actually take off, or if other tablet manufactures will follow suit, but it seems unlikely. With the widespread use of video streaming services, the development of cloud storage, and easy downloading of television shows and films, the old-school antenna and TV tuner could be a flop.

A rundown of what else to expect

Despite the new additions the AT330 makes to the tablet market, it falls into line with other tablets in other areas. For example, it uses a powerful quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, so it will able to handle almost all tablet activities quickly, from watching videos to browsing the web. It is equipped with two cameras, like most other tablets, one on the front and one on the rear. The rear is thought to be a 5 megapixel camera, and the front is a 1.3 megapixel snapper, very similar to the latest iPad. It will run the latest in the series of Android operating systems, the Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. To add to that, it has some great connectivity options. It comes with a HDMI port, along with a SD memory card port, a microUSB port, and a port for a SIM card. With all this to offer, there could be high demand for this rather big tablet yet, so watch this space.
